  • How far in advance do I need to book in my cake?
    The more time the merrier! We require at least 2-3 weeks notice, however if you need a last minute cake please don't hesitate to contact us. We may be booked out but we may be able to squeeze your order in. Wedding cakes: at least 2 months notice (depends on availability).
  • Deposits and Payments
    We require a 50% deposit to secure your order. An invoice will be sent to your email address. The remaining balance will be required 1-2 weeks before the order date. Another email with the invoice will be sent to you with the due date. Please note, no order or date is confirmed until an invoice has been sent and a deposit has been paid.
  • Cancellations
    Due to the nature of our business we have a strict cancellation policy. We require 7 days notice for any changes to the order. Where an order is cancelled 14 days or more prior to the pickup date the payment is fully refundable (excluding cake topper payments). Any cancellations within 14 days of the order date reserves us the right to forfeit the paid 50% deposit. Cancellation within 5 days of the order date and after the order has already been finished reserves us the right to forfeit the full payment. We would still deliver the product to a new/appropriate location confirmed with you the client or have available for pick up. Thank you for your understanding. COVID 19 Cancellation policy: In the event that an order needs to be cancelled or changed please contact us immediately. All deposits already been paid will be used as a credit for another order at a future date.
  • What information do I need to provide to order a cake?
    The date, number or guests you are having and any designs you liked are the most important information to provide.
  • Do you deliver?
    Yes I can deliver your cake at a cost depending on the location. I always recommend for tiered cakes to be delivered to the event location rather than picked up.
  • What happens if I pick up my cake and it breaks during transit?
    We take great care in preparing our cakes so they are internally supported and sturdy enough to travel. The best place to put the cake in the car is on the floor of the passenger's seat, or the floor behind the passenger's seat. This ensures the cake moves with the car and is less likely to be damaged whilst driving. We cannot accept any responsibility for any breakages or damages to your order after it has left my cake studio address.
  • Changes to my order
    We require at least 7 days notice for any changes to your order.
  • Transportation
    The cake will be placed in a sturdy box for transportation. We recommend for the cake to be placed on the floor of the passenger seat, or on the floor behind the passenger's seat. If it is a warm day please blast the air-con angled towards the cake. We offer delivery at a cost depending on the location and availability.
  • Can you cater to specific dietary requirements?
    Yes! We can make any cake gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, egg-free, vegan etc. Please note: all of our cakes are baked in a cake studio which uses gluten, tree nuts, soy and dairy. Therefore we cannot guarantee that all food labelled “gluten free”, “nut free” or “dairy free” doesn’t contain traces of these ingredients.
  • I’ve sent through an email, when will I hear back?
    I will be in touch as soon as possible to all enquiries! Currently I (Tanya) am doing all the baking, emails, deliveries and admin so it may take me up to 3 business days to respond to your email unless it is urgent. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
